A set of three basic brushes from Akashiya, known for making brushes in Japan since 1624. All three brushes are moderately firm; the two larger brushes are a mixture of wool and horsehair (for washes) and the smaller brush is synthetic (for painting lines and fine details). Comfortable bamboo handles.
